There are two options for resetting your cPanel password, this guide provides instructions for both options
1. Reset your cPanel password in cPanel - This option requires your current cPanel password
If your cPanel password is lost, the password was included in the original Welcome to Serversaurus or IMPORTANT: Hosting Documentation email. If you can't locate the email, you can request our support team to send the Hosting Documentation to your address.
Once you've located your cPanel password, you can follow the below steps to reset your cPanel password in cPanel:
- Login to the Client Area, if you've forgotten your password, reset your password
- Select the Services menu, then select My Services from the drop down menu
- Select Active next to the service you want to update
- From the Actions menu, select Login to cPanel
- Within cPanel, select your cPanel username in the top right hand corner, from the drop down menu select Password & Security
- Fill out the form with your desired password and save changes.
2. Use the Password Reset option via the cPanel login page - This option requires your cPanel contact email address to be valid
